1. Who we are
ⓘ Xpat is a brand of Remit2Any Inc., a Washington fintech company that works with licensed partners.
Xpat (Xpat.Money) is operated by Remit2Any Inc., a financial technology company incorporated in the State of Washington, United States (Registration No. 604871470).
Remit2Any Inc. is not a bank and does not take deposits. It is not itself licensed as a money transmitter in every jurisdiction. Money transmission, payment, wallet and related services are provided through licensed banks and regulated financial partners, as applicable to each product, transaction and jurisdiction.

We may also work with other licensed banks, money transmitters and payment service providers, depending on the product, the countries involved and the transaction. Each transaction is processed by the appropriate regulated entity under applicable federal, state, provincial and international law, including anti-money laundering, know-your-customer, sanctions and consumer protection rules.
The High Yield Program, which is being discontinued, has its own partners. They are listed in the High Yield terms.
3. Which partner provides which service
ⓘ Each Xpat service is provided by a specific partner — here’s the map.
- Cash Plus Account — provided by Bivo Inc. under Bivo’s own Account Agreement, Electronic Communications Agreement and Privacy Policy, which you accept when you open the account. See the Cash Plus Account disclosure.
- USD Wallet (being retired) — provided by Cybrid. It is shown only while it holds a balance, and you can move that balance to your Cash Plus Account.
- Banking services — provided through Cross River Bank, Member FDIC.
- Transfers to India (USD → INR) — Xpat works with regulated banking, payment, liquidity and payout partners to facilitate transfers. The partner applicable to a transaction may vary based on transaction type, destination, funding method and regulatory requirements. Where the law requires, the provider is named in the disclosures for that transaction.
Some services in the app, such as payments from India to other countries, mutual fund investing and tax filing, are provided by independent third parties. Xpat is not the provider of those services, and their own terms apply.
Xpat does not hold your Cash Plus Account balance. FDIC insurance does not cover Xpat itself; where FDIC coverage applies to a product, it comes from the bank holding the funds and is explained in that product’s disclosure.
4. Complaints and regulators
ⓘ Tell us first; if we don’t resolve it, you can contact your state regulator or the CFPB.
If something has gone wrong, please contact Xpat first — reach us through in-app chat or email. Tell us what happened, the date, the amount and any transfer reference, and we will respond.
If you are not satisfied with our response, or you prefer not to contact us, you may contact the financial regulator in your state. Washington residents may contact the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions (DFI). You can also submit a complaint to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) at consumerfinance.gov or by calling 1-855-411-2372.
Complaints about a partner’s service, such as your Cash Plus Account, may also be sent to that partner or to the regulators listed on its licensing page.
